As we head into the final stretch of 2025, it’s impossible not to feel the momentum building within the National Hispanic Construction Alliance (NHCA). What began as a vision to unite, empower, and elevate Hispanic contractors has quickly grown into a national movement—one that’s connecting people, ideas, and opportunities across every corner of the construction industry.
From the start, our goal has been simple yet powerful: to build the builder. That means equipping professionals with the tools, knowledge, and partnerships they need to grow their businesses and strengthen their communities. Whether through training, collaboration, or advocacy, NHCA has positioned itself at the intersection of progress and opportunity—helping shape a more unified, resilient, and thriving construction industry.
Since our inception, we’ve made remarkable strides toward that vision. Our Build the Builder Initiative continues to empower Hispanic entrepreneurs with practical business education, mentorship, and access to critical industry resources. Through our NHCA Development Coalition, we’re aligning developers, lenders, and public agencies to create pathways that lead to real contracts, not just conversations. We are also developing an innovative Emergency Response Team platform that will mobilize skilled professionals and member companies to respond effectively to natural disasters and community crises—demonstrating both the capacity and compassion of the Hispanic construction community when it matters most.
These efforts are not isolated programs—they’re part of a larger movement. Together, they represent NHCA’s belief that when builders grow, entire communities rise. Each initiative reinforces the other: training strengthens business, business fuels opportunity, and opportunity builds leadership.
Of course, we recognize the challenges that shape our industry and our communities. Across the country, immigration uncertainty, economic headwinds, and workforce shortages continue to test the resilience of contractors and small business owners. Yet, even in the face of these challenges, our members continue to persevere, innovate, and build. That perseverance—the unwavering belief that progress is possible through hard work and unity—is what defines NHCA and the builders we represent.
Our events this fall reflect that same spirit of determination and collaboration. From Phoenix to Fresno to Charlotte and San Diego, NHCA is convening contractors, suppliers, lenders, and industry leaders to share knowledge and strengthen relationships. Sessions like Building Business for Construction Professionals, The Builder’s Rally, The Flipping Truth: Myth vs. Reality, and our Lowe’s GPO Onboarding event are more than just meetings—they’re milestones in our mission to connect, educate, and inspire those shaping the future of construction.
And that future looks bright. Across the country, we’re seeing renewed energy, innovation, and cooperation within the construction ecosystem. Hispanic professionals are leading companies, developing talent, and contributing ideas that make the industry stronger and more dynamic than ever before. NHCA is proud to stand at the center of that momentum—serving as a bridge between people, partners, and possibilities.
As we look ahead to 2026, our focus remains on building capacity, expanding partnerships, and opening doors. The foundation we’ve laid since our inception has been strong—but what’s coming next is even more exciting.
At NHCA, we don’t just build structures—we build leaders, businesses, and legacy. Together, we’re constructing something far greater than any one project: a future where every builder has the opportunity to thrive.
