The past several weeks have marked an exciting period of growth and momentum for our organization as we continue expanding our leadership network, strengthening national partnerships, and building the foundation for greater impact across the construction industry.

One of our most exciting milestones was the successful launch event for our new board in Dallas, a moment that reflects both the strength of our community and the increasing demand for leadership that represents the diversity and talent within the construction sector. The Dallas event brought together industry leaders, partners, and supporters who share our commitment to advancing opportunity, representation, and collaboration in construction. The energy in the room confirmed what we have long known: the movement we are building continues to gain traction nationwide.

This momentum has also been reflected in our recent board elections in the Coachella Valley (Desert Cities) and the Central Valley, where local leaders stepped forward to help guide the next phase of growth in these important regions. These elections mark a significant step in deepening our regional presence and empowering local professionals to shape the future of our work on the ground. With new leadership in place, these chapters are positioned to drive meaningful engagement, mentorship, and industry collaboration throughout their communities.

At the national level, we are seeing encouraging progress in our growing engagement with major industry partners, including expanding conversations with companies like Lowe’s and others who recognize the value of investing in a stronger construction workforce. These partnerships represent more than sponsorship opportunities—they reflect a shared commitment to building pipelines of talent, supporting Hispanic professionals, and strengthening the broader construction ecosystem.

Another major milestone on the horizon is the forthcoming release of our report, “State of Hispanics in Construction.” This report will provide an important look at the contributions, challenges, and opportunities shaping Hispanic participation in the industry today. By bringing together data, insights, and industry perspectives, the report will help inform conversations with policymakers, industry leaders, and community partners as we work to ensure that growth in the construction sector is inclusive and sustainable.

All of this progress is fueling the energy that will carry us into the Policy Conference in Washington, D.C. on March 23, where we will continue advancing conversations around workforce development, economic opportunity, and industry representation at the national level. Our presence in Washington reflects our commitment to ensuring that the voices of Hispanic construction professionals are part of the policy discussions shaping the future of the industry.

At the same time, we are deepening collaboration with partners like ABIC while preparing for an exciting period of chapter expansion in Q2 of this year. As new leaders emerge and new chapters take shape, our network continues to grow stronger, more connected, and more impactful.

The momentum we are experiencing today is driven by the dedication of our members, partners, and leaders across the country. Together, we are not only celebrating recent successes—we are laying the groundwork for the next chapter of growth, opportunity, and influence for Hispanics in construction.

If you want to be part of these conversations and help shape the future of our industry, we invite you to join us at the upcoming Homeownership & Housing Policy Conference in Washington, D.C. from March 23–25. This gathering will bring together industry leaders, government officials, policymakers, and advocates to discuss the policies and strategies that will define the next chapter of Hispanic economic opportunity.
