2025 State of Hispanics in Construction Report
By analyzing workforce trends, wage Hispanic workers play a crucial role in the U.S. construction industry, making up 30.31% of the workforce, or approximately 3.7 million workers. Between 2018 and 2023, they accounted for 59.1% of workforce growth, reinforcing their position as the industry's driving force.
Despite this growth, representation in leadership roles remains low, with only 15.72% of Hispanic workers holding management, supervisory, or engineering positions, compared to 35.73% of non-Hispanic workers. Wage disparities persist, with Hispanic workers in management roles earning up to 10.6% less than their non-Hispanic counterparts.
As the country rebuilds infrastructure and expands housing, a strong, skilled workforce will be essential. This report highlights the need for targeted initiatives that promote professional education, career advancement, and equitable pay to ensure continued growth and success for Hispanic workers in construction.
