A Call to the Builders of Our Future
In every foundation poured, every beam raised, and every structure completed, there’s a story of grit, sacrifice, and pride. Across job sites and boardrooms, Hispanic workers, contractors, and entrepreneurs have been quietly shaping this country, our country—brick by brick, project by project.
The National Hispanic Construction Alliance (NHCA) believes it’s time to do more than build. It’s time to unite.
Our forthcoming national conference this September in San Diego is not just another industry gathering—it’s a call to action. A rallying point. A chance to bring together the very best our community has to offer to learn, grow, and lead together.
For decades, Hispanic-led construction organizations have fought tirelessly—sometimes in isolation—for visibility, opportunity, and a seat at the table. Groups like the Latino Federal Contractors Alliance, NAHICA, USCON, Latino Built and the Alliance for Hispanic Commercial Contractors have each carved out critical space for their members. Many more local, state, and regional organizations across the country have been doing the same.
But now, the opportunity ahead of us is bigger than any single organization.
That’s why we’re extending a direct invitation:
Let’s show up. Let’s show out. Let’s show what happens when we set-aside our individual goals and agendas and put progress front and center.
This is a time for leadership—not competition. For collaboration—not fragmentation.
No matter your logo or location, if your mission is to elevate Hispanic workers and business owners in construction, you belong in the room.
Together, we can set a national agenda that reflects our shared priorities—talent development, small business growth, project access, and long-term market participation. We can lift each other up, share insights, open doors, and build an ecosystem that works for all of us.
Because the truth is this: when we unite, we stop being small.
We become a force—economically, politically, and commercially. We gain influence. We gain traction. And we create the kind of momentum that turns hard-earned progress into permanent change. For those of you who may not feel invited or welcome, you don’t need to role your r’s to be embraced as part of our combined struggles to build the industry, our companies and our future.
If you lead a crew, a company, or an organization, this conference is your space. Bring your team. Bring your partners. Bring your perspective. We don’t need to agree on everything—we just need to agree that the time to move forward is now.
Let this conference be a statement to the industry: Hispanic construction workers, contractors, builders and developers are here—not just to participate, but to collaborate and lead.
Join us. Unite with us. And let’s build what’s next—together.
Register now to help drive change, build connection, and lead the future of our industry.
